Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of ASEAN's economic development and growth, playing crucial roles in fostering value-added activities, innovation, and inclusive growth. With over 70 million MSMEs in ASEAN, accounting for between 97.2% to 99.9% of total establishments, they contribute significantly to employment, GDP, and national exports, representing the largest share of enterprises in the region.
